MoEd: A Jewish Afterschool Community

An afterschool program appropriate for young children in the late afternoon, filled with Hebrew language and Jewish learning. A fun, engaging, active, program of play and study. Bringing Washington-area children together for Jewish learning Reliable afterschool and vacation childcareDuring the 2012-2013 school year, MoEd is co-located with Ohr Kodesh Congregation in Chevy Chase, MD for after-school programming until 6:30pm, and with Tifereth Israel Congregation in Washington, DC for full-day programming. Children may enroll for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week, as well as on days when public schools are closed or close early. Transportation is available from several Montgomery County Public Schools and Jewish Day Schools. We are proud founding members of the Nitzan network of Jewish afterschool education programs.
Childcare when schools are closed. Strong emphasis on arts and movement. Drop-in enrollment available for our afterschool and full-day programs. All of our educators are native speakers of Hebrew, more than a quarter of our students speak Hebrew at home–we are serious about Hebrew immersive fun!
