A-SPAN provides life-sustaining services for Arlington’s street homeless. Their mission is to secure permanent housing for one of Arlington’s most vulnerable populations through outreach and relationships built on trust and respect.
A-SPAN’s services begin with street outreach. Street Outreach Staff frequent wooded areas, parks, underpasses, abandoned buildings and other areas to meet with homeless people where they live. Street Outreach Staff provide clothing, blankets and personal hygiene supplies to people in need.
