Thousands of Jews forced to flee Europe settled in the United States, and now their descendants are looking back. What is tempting Jews to obtain European passports? And what does it mean to return to the countries that persecuted their family members?

On the 87th anniversary of Kristallnacht, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Holocaust survivors will share with us their family’s story and take us on the journey that led to their attaining citizenship by descent in the countries their families narrowly escaped.

Meet Anne Hand, author of Austrian Again (and cousin of TRS member Diana Corimski), and TRS members Renee and Bill Andrews and Melani Spiegel.
