Event Series Event Series: A People That Dwells Alone

A People That Dwells Alone

September 3, 2024 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

A People that Dwells Alone*

Are the Jews a people who dwell alone? In what ways is Jewish distinctiveness both a strength and a challenge? This critical moment for Israel and the Jewish people – one in which Jews are simultaneously powerful and vulnerable – begs questions of how Israel should relate to the family of nations and how North American Jews should relate to the society in which we live.

Please join Tal Becker, Vice President and Senior Faculty at the Shalom Hartman Institute, in conversation with Gil Preuss, CEO of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, as we seek to understand the nature of Jewish distinctiveness and its implications for relationships between our Greater Washington community and Israel, and between the Jewish people and the broader world.

We hope you can join us for this important and timely conversation. Please register by August 30th. We encourage you to submit questions for Tal Becker upon registering.

Please note that this webinar will not be recorded.
