A Day of Mourning

We are devastated by the news that Hamas has killed six more hostages.

Among these heart-breaking losses was Israeli American Hersh Goldberg-Polin. Hersh was generously shared with us by the tireless advocacy of his parents, Rachel and Jon. Every day since his abduction on October 7th, his story was a global beacon of hope for the Jewish people. We share our deepest sorrows with Rachel, Jon, and their family.

We mourn with them and with the loved ones of Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Carmel Gat, Alexander Lobanov, and Almog Sarusi, vibrant, young people brutally murdered in the prime of their lives.

Their memories are a blessing. May their loved ones be comforted among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. We grieve with the Jewish people around the world and in our community.

We pray for the safe and imminent return of the remaining hostages and will continue to fight until they are all home.

We will be sharing more about opportunities this week and on October 7th to mourn and celebrate their lives as a community.
