Northern Virginia Leadership Breakfast
Strengthen our Northern Virginia Jewish leadership community.
This dynamic morning will bring together lay leaders from our NOVA synagogues and agencies for meaningful leadership development and community building. This event is part of Federation’s broader effort to cultivate a vibrant, connected, and empowered leadership network in NOVA.
Featuring Miriam Stein, Founder, Saddlerock Strategies
Miriam Stein is the founder of Saddlerock Strategies, a boutique consulting service that works with organizations on workplace culture, strategy and program design. She has lectured nationally on workplace dynamics, and works with each client agency to create a tailored and personalized program to meet their needs. She holds a BA in Jewish History from the University of Pennsylvania and Masters Degrees in Education and in Jewish Studies from George Washington University. As a lifelong learner, Miriam is a graduate of Atidenu, Prizmah’s signature program in enrollment strategy training, Day School Leadership Training Institute (DSLTI), and is a certified facilitator in the Six Types of Working Genius by the Table Group. Miriam lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC with her co-pilot husband, children, and their dog. Learn more

Security at Federation Events
The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s security division, JShield, works closely with local law enforcement to coordinate security for all Federation-hosted events. - Entry: Registration is required—walk-ins will not be permitted. A government-issued ID is required for entry.
- Bag Policy: Backpacks, luggage, and large purses are not permitted. If possible, we encourage you to avoid bringing a bag. If necessary, please bring a small one. All bags are subject to search.
- Additional Security Measures: Depending on the event, additional procedures such as metal detectors may be in place.
- Social Media Protocol: To help protect all attendees, please do not post the location of a Federation event before or during the event. We ask that you wait to post until the event has ended and the site is clear.
